Quartzsite, Arizona
After gathering the troops we headed south to Quartzsite, the southwest's largest on-going swap meet. This is snow-bird country but we had a favorite spot to head to. Ended up camping at the same location as last year. I really mean the same location, as in the same fire pit.
With Quillens and Gord and Marge (from Toronto, Ontario, Canada) we spend three days cruising the swap meets and showing the green horns the way of the desert.
Quillen had a blast there as she has started a jewelry business (www.chimneyrockstudio.com)and Gord and Marg just enjoyed the meander.
Quillen had to head home but made a last minute run into town for one last buy. We played a couple more days with Gord and Marg and then they too headed out. They went south to Yuma to check out the landscape there.
